Scout Olympacks
We had 2 Bears and 6 Wolves attend the Olympacs this year.  Each boy competed in five events, Softball throw, Shuttle Run, Board Jump, Sit ups and 50M Dash.  Let me tell you we have some very athletic boys in Pack 28.  Each boy, based on how well they did in each event, was given a number rating.  The numbers were totaled and I believe we had two boys get Silver (Red Ribbon) and the rest getting Gold (Blue Ribbons).  It was a very chilly day but each boy had a good time and may have even qualified for their physical fitness beltloop!  It was a fun and quick paced event that Pack 28 should definitely do again next year.

Webeloree
Pack 28 had a great turn out for the Webeloree this month with 17 boys attending.  The boys split up into 2 dens, Web 1 and Web 2.  Loads of fun activities were available for the boys, and activity badges were worked on.  Each group had a scavenger hunt list to keep them busy through the day, and had to prepare a skit for the Saturday night camp fire.  I would have to say that there were some original skits – including ours!  Sunday brought some more fun and games, as our boys started a game of ultimate Frisbee thanks to Jim Crawford.  The grand finale was a tug of war event.  Who says that you can’t have fun in the cold?

Human Race 2007
Pack 28 had 24 Boys and their families attend this year and we raised $931 for the Volunteer Center as well as had a BLAST walking through the Holiday lights at Newport News Park.
